Our Horse and Chicken Manure is a rich, black manure that is easy to work with and gives great results.

1 Tonne bag! Most suppliers use only 750KG, we do 1,000KG!

Our Manure is a mix of well rotted horse and chicken muck; it also goes by the name "mushroom compost" as, before it gets to us for bagging or blending, it serves a term growing mushrooms (you won't get loads of mushrooms in your borders, fear not).

Delivery Information

We use a variety of delivery vehicles and haulage firms to complete our deliveries based on your location.

Our current delivery lead time is approx. 3 - 10 working days , however we are aiming to speed this up where we can.

We use a pallet network who will use a manually operated pallet truck to move the bag(s) to the kerbside or onto a level (No slopes or hills), solid surface such as a tarmac drive (not gravel or grass sorry).

You must have access for a large wagon which will need to park and offload for several minutes. They use a pallet trolley and tail lift to offload the pallets.

Once a delivery is dispatched we are charged, so the onus is on you, the customer to ensure all these requirements are met as the delivery charge will be applicable even if they can't deliver.

The pallet courier aim to deliver between 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday. The driver will call you when they are on their way to you.

We advise that someone is home to take delivery as in some cases the goods can only be left roadside. We understand that this isn't always possible though so please give clear instructions when placing your order as to where the goods needs to be left.

Please note: We do not chemically treat our products for weeds. Weeds thrive in warm, wet weather and especially in very fertile soils and composts like our own. Although every care is taken to remove weeds during our screening process we can not guarantee that weed seeds are not present in the soil or compost that you receive. To keep your topsoil organic we suggest pulling up common weeds, when and if they appear, instead of using chemical weed-killers. Or purchase some of our anti-weed prevent membrane and some gravel or mulch, for an easy weed-free garden!
