The following conditions of sale apply for customers purchasing items from this web site, in addition to the Terms of Use of this web site.

Making a Purchase
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Your card will be billed as Compost Guy, through our payment processor "Stripe"

Any order received requires 1-2 working days handling, before being dispatched as a worst case scenario. We endeavour to dispatch your goods the next working day with a delivery estimate of 5-7 working days. In extreme circumstances there may be a delay on your order. Where we require an order to be placed by us to our supplier, there may be delays which we cannot be held responsible for. We will keep you updated on progress of the order.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive, this means customers in the European Union are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of seven business days. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days, and we will issue a refund for the price you paid for the item. You are responsible for the return shipping, or our costs for arranging a collection. Please be aware as compost bins are large, the return shipping can be up to £50, or more if you arrange it yourself with a courier.

You can always return items if they are defective. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. To return an item, please email hello@compostguy.co.uk. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in its original box (if any). Please send photo evidence in the email.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy
We disclose buyers' information to our suppliers and the courier service being used to deliver your goods. Your data is also stored on our order management system that is part of the website hosting.

Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
