The website is excellent and the care regarding the delivery was really good. The product I purchased - Hot Bin 200L with plinth - is fantastic. The food waste for weekly collection has dramatically reduced and to be honest you can get totally hooked on composting and the process. It's really fascinating. Would really recommend Adam (The Compost Guy) - it's a lovely new business to support.

Absolutely cracking service from Adam when I ordered my Mini HotBin. The website was easy to order from but forgot to purchase a plinth and only realised I needed one after watching more reviews. Adam was very quick to respond to comms. I would'nt hesitate to recommend.
Not surprised Compost Guy gets great reviews. The way he communicates with customers is excellent - he keeps you fully informed about the whole process, every step of the journey. I am so pleased I ordered a Hotbin through Adam. Yes, it is easy to give a good review when you receive first-rate service, but I feel Adam would do whatever it took to sort out any issues. I received and set up my Hotbin today, and I'm looking forward to harvesting my own compost in due course! Adam was great from start to finish, personally dealing with my order, communicating regularly, and giving helpful advice. The bin arrived in three working days, so very quick. The price was the best out there and included extras - a mixing rake, an internal thermometer, and a 'kick start' bottle. Detailed and clear set up and maintenance instructions are included. I'm a happy customer.

What a pleasure to deal with Adam and his company. From the very start the service was impeccable. His communication was excellent and he kept us informed of the purchasing process throughout. I requested a plinth for my Hot Bin after the processing had completed and there was no problem adding this to the order. If I could give Adam 6 stars I would.

The Compost Guy, Adam has a lot of knowledge about his products, and a brilliant delivery service too - from order to arrival in 4 days (over a weekend) Plus a good value price.
I bought the hot composter as a present for my husband's big birthday. I have no idea about gardening or growing veg but love to use the produce from our garden in cooking. So having lovely fresh vegetables is important but the current compost heap never yielded any soil and compost was bought in. Contacting Adam was the best move I made, as he advised on the product, was great with organising the delivery to arrive on the birthday and he provides excellent support for novices. The birthday boy spent several hours on the day to start the Hotbin with the help of the video and written instructions provided. I also ordered the plinth which is really useful particularly if your ground is uneven. So far a great success as a present and the helpline Adam provides is very reassuring. I definitely recommend this company and their service.

Absolutely faultless service. Adam was extremely helpful throughout. He responded very quickly to any questions I had. The products were delivered on schedule and were very well packed. DPD were also very careful. I would have no hesitation in purchasing other products from compostguy.

We are trying more to buy things from independent sellers rather than just going to Amazon and clicking the buy now button. The order for a HOTBIN went in on Sunday and we were surprised to get an email reply during the day. The chap sounded very nice and helpful and assured us that he would get the item sent out first thing Monday. It turned up today midday on the Wednesday during an allocated one hour slot. The delivery was free and the item turned up in perfect condition. We are very pleased we went with someone you can actually talk to and we realised all his reassurances were well-founded when the item was carefully delivered to our front door. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company on our current experiences.

Hi I am Graham and live in south east London. I saw Eli and Kate on U/Tube using a (Hotbin) and decided to treat myself so that I could get rid of a couple of my (daleks). I came across Adam and his company whilst I was looking for a supplier. I contacted Adam and was so impressed with his service. No speaking to an automated machine, direct contact with a human being. Order placed and follow up e-mails to confirm progress with my delivery. Some of the big organisations could learn alot from Adam. Hotbin now in situ and hopefully doing its job. I ordered a Hotbin Composter MK2 for my Sons birthday from Adam at the Compost Guy company. I can honestly say its they best customer experience I have ever had. I used the online chat function as I was not sure exactly what product I needed and had some questions on both the product and the price. Adam replied super quick, was amazingly helpful and answered all my questions. The Compost Guy company are amazing for price and the service is incredible. Once ordered, I had an number of supporting emails confirming the order, confirming it had been processed, one when dispatched and one for managing the delivery via DPD. The composter also arrived very quick! The website is also very useful for information and guides on composting and I even received an email with a link to help me get started. I would highly recommend Adam and the Compost Guy company to anyone for value and service. Thank you Adam for all the help, my son is delighted with the Hotbin composter.

Honestly the best customer service I have ever experienced, had a few issues that were entirely the responsibility of the manufacturer and Adam at Compost Guy went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved and that I was happy with the product I received.
